Financing

The funding of the Centre is general from the Federal Government in respect of the following three areas:

Capital, Personnel and Overhead Costs

The Centre received its subvention directly from the Federal Ministry of Finance.  For capital projects the Government has committed almost N140m for 2008 fiscal year and N160m for Personnel Costs and N60m for Overhead Costs.  The Government has also committed an sum of about N182m under Millennium Development Goals Programme to enable the Centre prosecute some of the outreach programmes at the school level.  However the Centre is still experiencing its difficult meeting its financial obligations especially with its very low monthly overhead costs.
The Federal Government of Nigeria is responsible for 100% for the capital investment and recurrent expenses budget of the Centre.
